look at that handsome face! underneath all that charm lies a man of determined action, one who seeks daily to unroll all the toilet paper in the house, open every cabinet, stick his hand in every toilet bowl, and live outside if he were allowed. not at all afraid to roam into dark places and investigate, he is just the most curious little being. and does not like to be handed the same old boring toys day after day...no, sir. to say i have been overwhelmed by my son is an understatement. his energy alone makes me tired. but he never ceases to give me one of those winner smiles and win me over hour by hour.

new year, new digs, new niece...
well, we have moved into the lovely town of tifton, ga. as we have been unpacking and getting settled, we have also welcomed an addition to our family, Ryan Sally Hoecherl, my sister and her husband's brand new daughter. brody and i hit the road last week to help out so that Hyrum could visit his very sick mother in Utah. i, of course, was very happy to go up and see my new niece, my awesome niece Mackenzie, and my sister. what a blessing! Well, without further ado - here is Ryan:

look at that white-blonde hair! such an angel!

currently, we are back in tifton and Brody is battling a stomach bug. so - we are looking forward to a restful week at home. well - more later...it has gotten very difficult with the computer because if Brody sees me on it, he wants to play too. it ranks up there with remotes, cell phones, and cameras. he must get it from his dad :)
