Wow! Sometimes I cannot believe it has been a year since I gave birth to Brody. We had a pretty average day, but in the afternoon, Brody's grandparents and aunts came to visit - with balloons and a musical card! We all watched Brody play with the new set of wheels Adam and I gave him. I hope this won't give him high expectations when he turns 16, but it sure was fun to watch him get so excited over his new toy.
Brody has been very busy lately perfecting his steps. I noticed him starting to walk a couple of weeks ago, and he has been at it ever since.
Today we will have a party in Brody's honor with cupcakes and ice cream - so more pictures to come.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our first year with Brody, he has been so fun for us. And for me especially, i feel that as he gets more active and more expressive, we grow closer together and I enjoy his company more and more. He seems to have such boundless energy and a courageous bordering on fearless spirit, and he has a smile that will win anyone over - i've seen him in action at Walmart many times. He also has so many people to love him - I am so grateful. I am not sure what this next year will bring, but I am excited for him as he grows and his personality develops even more.
