summertime

life has been moving right along in the Ray house...

summer has definitely brought the heat to south georgia, and has me a bit less motivated to be outdoors - unless in a pool. brody enjoys being in his little wading pool, and big pools. he loves to splash and is frighteningly fearless as we move around in the pool. we have been going every week to adam's aunt and uncle's house to swim with the family and eat lunch, and he has loved being in and around that pool.

we just got back from our beach trip which we were all excited about - especially adam who had been working every weekend for the past month and late hours during the week - the man was ready for a break from that place. i wish we could show you some updated pictures...but we are currently without a hard drive on our "picture storage computer". Brody had a blast, though, playing in the sand and surf..he was quite elated to be there every day, waking up to a condo full of people who love to give him gobs of attention.

brody has officially given up his morning nap, which changed things up a bit, but we are moving right along, i guess.

and...

we had an ultrasound just before we left a couple weeks ago and found out we will be having another little boy! we are excited - and i especially got excited seeing him on that screen moving around. definitely made him more real to me.
